I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Avant Assessment in Jun 2021
Interview
I interviewed with Avant about 2 years ago, and the interview process was fairly easy, nontechnical. Just know the basics of git and linux CLI. As an intern, I got 16/hr. I got an offer for after I graduated college, for only 55k. This is not a competitive salary, and I want to inform future SWEs applying here of expected compensation
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Avant Assessment (Eugene, OR) in May 2021
Interview
I was asked some questions about Git, my experience with coding, and a project that I had worked on recently. There were no difficult technical coding questions beyond just checking my knowledge of different frameworks/softwares.
