I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Aya Healthcare (San Diego, CA) in May 2017
Interview
One personality test, one phone interview, one interview with recruiter, one interview with department manager. It was all pretty generic. My gripe with them is that if you are not selected for the position, they will not let you know, nor will they respond to your inquiries. I was told during the interview with the department manager that she wanted me to interview with a couple other hiring managers and that the recruiter would schedule the time. After a week, I hadnt heard from anyone, so I called my recruiter, who answered the phone, but promptly hung up once I identified myself and would not pick up once I tried her again. Nor was the voice mail I left answered. The next day, I decided to attempt to contact the department manager, but I was told that she was unavailable and left a message. My message was never answered. Regardless of getting the position, this is unfortunate because I had heard such great things about the company. I guess what I experienced was the reality of their practices, which are unprofessional and rude, especially considering that candidates take the time out of their schedule (I was and am still employed) to have multiple interviews with multiple people. There is no resentment on my part, but I think that this company needs some training in professionalism. I wont be recommending them.
Simple three part interview, from scheduling first interview to receiving the offer it was under a month. Everyone was very easy to talk to and made it an easy process.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Aya Healthcare (Atlanta, GA) in Sept 2022
Interview
Phone interview. A recruiter called me to inform me about the job and asked me about my past work experience. She also informed me about benefits, pay, and bonuses. She was very kind.
5 rounds - PI, phone screen with HR, 3 phone/zoom interviews with hiring managers. Interview process went fairly well. The recruiter I was working with was very on top of everything and I developed a good relationship with this recruiter during the interview process. Everything went well, until my “final” interview. The hiring manager I spoke with repeated multiple questions I had already been asked and it almost felt like it was an initial interview. Then this hiring manager asked me uncomfortable questions like “what is your current salary?”, “do you have benefits in your current position?”, “is this how we get you guys, with the unlimited PTO?”. She also ended the interview with saying “we like to have you meet with multiple people before making a final decision.” so to me, this hiring manager wasn’t aware this was my “final interview”. I than got ghosted by the recruiter I was working with.
