I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Aya Healthcare (San Diego, CA) in Sept 2015
Interview
First, I did a telephone interview, which I thought was great because it made me feel like they were trying to get a feel for who I really am. I then had a face to face interview with a total of 5 people, this was definitely something different for me however it just showed me that they are looking for a specific group of "like minded' employees. AYA is standing by there Mission statement for sure which means not everyone can get in and that is ok with me. Everyone was very friendly, polite, and professional. It made the experience worth it. Thanks AYA!!!

Question 1
One of the questions that I kept getting repeatedly throughout the interview process was... "Why would we chose you?" I love this questions because I was able to explained who I am to see if I would fit for the culture they are looking for.
I applied online. I interviewed at Aya Healthcare (San Francisco, CA) in Feb 2026

This was one of the most unprofessional interview processes I’ve experienced in quite some time. As a recruiter myself, I make it a point to clearly communicate with candidates when sending an assessment, including letting them know it may land in spam since it’s often the first outreach and contains a link. I would never expect a candidate to complete an assessment without any prior communication or context.
After completing the assessment, I received no follow-up and was effectively ghosted. Unfortunately, this is the second time I’ve had this experience with an Aya recruiter. I understand that things get busy, but clear and respectful communication should remain a priority throughout the process.
