I was scheduled for a Zoom interview with Chris Graham, the President of the company. He joined the call 10 minutes late, without an explanation or any acknowledgement at all. We jumped right into the interview, with him asking me to walk through my resume.
He asked me where I live, and if I can commute to the office. I expressed my expectation of hybrid/remote work, and he was visibly unhappy. He went off about how I can "hide in my bedroom" while "all our workers enjoy coming to the office" and how they have a "fully stocked kitchen". So I asked him (rhetorically) whether or not he's currently at the office. He paused for a split second, then said "yes". But he was clearly in a house LOL. He was sitting in a room with a sloped ceiling and a pentagon-shaped window with white wood trim. His window looked out from the second floor, and it had a view of a tree just like every house in suburban GTA does. (Their actual office at 1 St Clair Ave E is a typical office building with large glass panel windows.)
The interview ended real quickly after Chris Graham embarrassed himself with this childish lie.
