I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at BASF (Florham Park, NJ) in Oct 2010
Interview
Heard about opportunity through networking. It was not posted anywhere that I know of. Phone interview followed by a panel face to face interview. Interviews moved quickly, but then there was a long lag from last interview to offer.
Friendly interview and was good , normal questions, frienldy managers in the interview.
Questions related to experience and technical ones.
Lasted almost one hours, it was in german language. They want to know and understand your experience related to the job.
I applied through university. I interviewed at BASF (Berlin)
Interview
The interview was extremely professional. I have first two calls with the HR manager who was extremely polite and put in me in my element. He tested by phone the knowledge of my languages (English and French) and after a first screening I was invited in person to Berlin for a face-to-face interview. The process was extremely professional and structured and I really appreciated their seriousness
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How would you manage a situation where you have to inform someone about an unexpected delay?
