Interview
When I arrived at the office, no one was at the front desk to greet me. I stood there awkwardly for about 5 minutes until a random employee showed up and asked me if I had been helped. She helped me get in touch with the correct people.
I met with one of the founders of the company and the manager of the position. They asked typical interview questions for an account manager position. The interview was so long ago now, I don't remember specific questions.
However, I do remember walking away from the interview with an unsettling feeling. I didn't like how family oriented the business is. It seemed like if you didn't fit perfectly into the culture you wouldn't work out there for very long. I felt that during the interview. So much so, I knew I didn't want to move forward with the process.
Some reviews on glassdoor suggested this, so I can't say I was super surprised. Oh well...
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Describe an example of a difficult client you worked with in the past and how you worked with them to solve their problems.
Unorganized, dull, did not have the appreciation to even send an email following up after I was told I’d hear regardless within a week, never heard. The office is too quiet, read reviews of politics playing roles into compensation.

There was no phone interview. The hiring process took about three weeks. Week one, I met with 2-3 people; week two, I met with one of the founding principles and my team leader.
