      Contact Center Consultant Interview

      20 Sept 2014
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer

      Application

      I interviewed at BECU

      Interview

applied online - received an email to schedule phone interview. phone interview was pretty much just a review of my resume and why i left my last job - what i liked most about my last job- what I liked least about my last job? how did I hear about BECU? once i completed phone interview I was asked to come in for group interview: I was asked 3 situational questions (s.t.a.r. format) - after answering each question they asked you "what did you learn from that experience? Tell me about a time you applied what you learned in a different situation?" so three questions are really like 9 questions and youll need 9 answers. after group interview i received an email stating that they would give me a call to complete a 20 minute phone interview. during the phone interview I was asked "to tell about a time I had to build trust with a coworker or employer? tell about a time I had to learn a new procedure or process?" i forgot the third question? remember after each question they ask "Tell me about a time you applied what you learned in a different situation?" so three questions are really like 9 questions and youll need 9 answers." after i completed phone interview I was invited to interview with 2 supervisors. I suck at interviews - they are normally very uncomfortable for me. however the supervisors were very layed back and made me forget i was in an interview (how corny does that sound?) they asked me 5 situational questions : *tell about a time i had to learn a new procedure or policy *tell me about a time something didnt work out as great as you planned it to *tell me about a time you had to build a relationship with someone at work *tell me about a time when you went above and beyond to help a customer

I applied online. I interviewed at BECU (Seattle, WA) in May 2023

      Interview

Received an email to confirm a phone screening. Was waiting on the dot for a call and they didn't even bother to call or follow up with an email apologizing nor to reschedule. Personally seems like a company that does not care about peoples time.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at BECU (Spokane Valley, Spokane, WA) in Feb 2020

      Interview

Applied online. Then an online video interview, phone call, then face to face interview. Two managers amitted they should have dressed up a bit more. I was told I would be contacted by email next week and to check my spam folder. Of course, I was not contacted and I had to call the HR in the Seattle area. After calling and waiting for a phone call I was emailed that I did not get the job. It is very sad a potential worker has to babysit the HR department, but this could be a reflection of the company which has planes stalled. Not very professional and could be a mickey mouse operation.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at BECU (Spokane Valley, Spokane, WA) in May 2015

      Interview

The group screening was very nerve racking but they seemed really easy going and nice. I left feeling pretty nervous. I had a phone interview and interviewed really awkwardly because I was so nervous. I completed their simulation and didn't hear anything for a week. I allowed 3 business days and finally emailed them. They replied back to me within a few days and resent me the simulation link and told me I should be receiving a link to put in my references. I never received this and emailed them twice to let them know. I waited a couple more days and emailed them again letting them know that I knew training started in the beginning of July and that I would need to know soon if I was going to be moving forward in the hiring process as I needed to give my current employer notice. I just received notice recently that they are moving forward with other candidates. I applied at the end of May..
