Despite purporting to want to uplift women in STEM, I didn’t end up feeling like this company respected me or my time. I’ve never undergone such a long interview process only to be completely ghosted.
The interview process was exceptionally lengthy and lasted multiple weeks. The final round was ia 5-hour-long block of rolling interviews with more than 8 different employees without any breaks. They had initially told me I would get breaks, but they messed up the schedule they gave me and ended up pushing me into extra (and unexpected) interviews. Everyone was friendly, but the process was very rapid and I was definitely very hungry and thirsty by the end.
Prior to the final interview everyone was extremely communicative. Karlene and Amanda were very helpful. However, after the interview was complete it was radio silence from everyone involved. Even though each person who interviewed me during the 5-hour phase encouraged me to email with questions, no one replied. My thank you e-mails to everyone went unacknowledged. My follow-up emails were ignored. No one ever reached out to me again.
