I applied online. I interviewed at BMG360 (Chicago, IL)
Interview
I got an email with 2 questions, one being a technical marketing question involving some media math and one being quite ambiguous: Tell me about some adversity you've faced in your life and how you handled it? I completed this, I received this back " Your answer was pretty vanilla." When asked this question its always advised to answer professionally with an example from work or school, so I did just that. However apparently he wanted a sob story, and assumed I have faced no challenges and that I'm privileged which couldn't be farther from the truth. Complete waste of time.

Thank you for sharing your experience-I am the head of HR at BMG360 and I would love to connect with you directly if you are open to it. I am very sorry that you had such a negative experience. This does not sound as though this was an interview conducted by an employee on the BMG360 team so I would like to get more information if you are willing to provide. This is not how the BMG360 team conducts their interview processes and would like to rectify the situation immediately. Please contact me directly if you are open to discussing further- mgrandin@bmg360.com.

1 excel test followed by 2 round interviews. The excel test is straightforward.
