I applied on LinkedIn and then given a 30-minute call with an in-house recruiter. The recruiter was able to ask deeper questions about my background and recommend multiple open positions to me.

The interview process started off strong. The recruiter initially provided helpful information about the role, and I had the opportunity to meet with the hiring manager, multiple team members, and several individuals across the organization. Everyone I spoke with was professional, welcoming, and knowledgeable. The conversations themselves were engaging and gave me a solid understanding of the team and broader business.
My primary concern throughout the process was communication from the recruiter. While she was respectful in conversations, there were notable inconsistencies regarding compensation expectations that were not clearly or accurately communicated upfront. Later in the process, I discovered discrepancies that could have been clarified much earlier.
Additionally, there were repeated miscommunications about next steps and timing. I often had to follow up multiple times, resend information (including screenshots for clarity), and experienced long gaps in communication. At times, responses would go silent for weeks, which created unnecessary uncertainty.
Overall, the team and interview experience itself were positive. However, the recruiter’s lack of transparency and inconsistent communication significantly impacted my perception of the opportunity and the organization. I would encourage more proactive, clear, and honest communication throughout the process to improve the candidate experience.
