recently interviewed for a Senior Software Engineer role at Bacancy. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet professional expectations. The interviewer did not introduce himself, asked only a few generic questions unrelated to the job description, and ended the interview abruptly without any proper closure or explanation of next steps.
I followed up multiple times and even tried calling, but received no feedback. Eventually, I was informed by HR that I needed to improve my technical knowledge. I requested they review the interview recording, as I wasn’t asked relevant technical questions aligned with the JD.
I’m sharing this not with negativity, but in the hope that the interview process can be improved to be more structured, transparent, and respectful to candidates.
