I spoke to an HR representative for an initial screening and then had a panel interview with 3 engineers. The screening call was fine. I was very unimpressed with the company after the interview with the engineers. One of the engineers asked me an incredibly misogynistic question. They repeatedly asked me the same questions over and over as if I was not aware of the position I applied to. The work life balance of this position sounded genuinely awful. One of the interviewers even told me it was challenging to have personal relationships while working in this position. I know that interviews are an opportunity for companies to get to know candidates, but some interviewers need to remember that the prospective employee is also deciding if they would like to work for the company. I left the interview knowing that I had absolutely no desire to work here, and I will not apply to other roles at this company in the future.
