I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Bed Bath & Beyond (Salt Lake City, UT) in Oct 2023
Interview
This is a company that has endless rounds of interviews and then rejects you. I had an initial phone screen and then 4 rounds of interviews and another possible interview but I guess I didn't make it to that last 5th round of interviews. It was just an unnecessarily drawn out process. It felt as if I was interviewing with everyone who worked for the company.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Bed Bath & Beyond (Union, NJ) in Oct 2016
Interview
Convo with the HR manager, with the hiring manager and the VP of the whole group. Highly conversational and friendly. People are knowledgeable and nice, were with the company for a long period of time and seems to like it.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
We were discussing my current experiences because I was doing exactly the same job with the previous employer and my skills were directly applicable. The company was going to build out a new team, and I was a part of a similar group knowing all the nut-and-bolts. Technically, I was extended an offer almost the same day. It took more than a week to take care of necessary formalities. Three days before the starting date, they recalled an offer providing no reason. By that time, I already gave a notice to another employer and stopped interviewing for more lucrative positions.
