I interviewed at Beef Northwest Feeders (Hermiston, OR)
Interview
I spoke with the CHRO and then did an in person working interview. The process was simple, going over job history and operational experience. Not many interview questions were asked but during the working interview i was able to meet with all of the leaders and talk about past experience.

Question 1
Describe a time when you had to manage a large project. How did you manage and what was the outcome?
I applied online. I interviewed at Beef Northwest Feeders (North Powder, OR) in Jan 2024
Interview
The interview was extremely thorough and involved a complete working day, where the candidate is tasked with doing actual work in multiple different roles. Definitely an overwhelming process, given the multiple archaic and non-user friendly accounting systems the organization employs. After a whirlwind of the day, I was told the postion I had applied for and just spent a whole day being ran through the ringer for, was already filled- (last week actually). They would like me to apply for another one they just made up, and come back for another working interview- I drove 2.5 hours and wasted my entire day, I left telling them I would think about it but was already typing the refusal email in the parking lot before starting my trek back home.

Question 1
What do you believe are the most important steps or aspects when building a long term business relationship?
I applied online. I interviewed at Beef Northwest Feeders
Interview
The interview process is intensive, but gives ample time for you to meet the managers and employees. Starts with an HR team screen, then manager phone interview. They like to do a paid working interview for a day or two, which gives you an opportunity to meet everyone and get a hands on approach to the job and company culture. After that would be the job offer if they select you.
