I went through a lengthy interview process, including one stage where I spoke with five different people over four days. Most of them didn’t seem to fully understand the role I was interviewing for, as they all asked me similar situational questions. I also completed an assessment that took hours, only to receive an impersonal email a few days later. I requested feedback given the significant time and effort I had invested in the process, but my request was ignored.

I am writing to express my concerns regarding the recruitment process I recently experienced with your company. As a candidate who values mental health and well-being, I was initially drawn to your company’s focus on providing support and guidance in this area. However, my experience during the application process has left me feeling frustrated and hugely underwhelmed for your actual care in this area.
The recruitment process, consisting of 10 stages and an extensive 2-hour long project proposal, was not only time-consuming but unnecessary as I was not applying for a position such as executive. It seemed counterintuitive to a company that markets itself as a mental health coach to put candidates through such a lengthy and demanding process without clear communication or support. Regardless of my countless efforts to get clarity on compensation package it lacked effective communication, transparency and the forth coming of information to only add to the stress.
Furthermore, after completing all stages of the process, I did not receive any form of acknowledgment, feedback, or even a courtesy email informing me of the outcome or any feedback. The absence of this basic professional courtesy is very disappointing, especially from an organisation that claims to prioritise mental health and well-being.
