I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Bill Pierre Ford (Seattle, WA)
Interview
The interview was apparently scheduled during a busy time of the day. I waited a 45 minutes before getting a chance to speak with the first staff member, then waited another 45 minutes before mentioning that I had a schedule to keep in mind and was no longer able to wait much longer and could reschedule if need be. The staff member seemed offended that I would even ask, insisted that I wait and have a seat, then didn't want to reschedule. The person I was waiting to speak with wasn't busy and was often noticeably simply starring in my direction, which appeared to be a profiling technique. If there was more evidence for foul behavior beyond what seems to be their standard of complacent, unprofessional management practices, an EEOC complaint would be well in order.
I applied through other source. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Bill Pierre Ford (Seattle, WA) in Dec 2017
Interview
Made an appointment, showed up a little early and they had me fill out the application and paperwork. Was interviewed by a junior manager who focused on product knowledge (very specific) I deflected and talked about my prior sales experience and the level of customer service I provide. He seemed to think I was a good candidate and asked me to wait to talk to someone else. I waited about 10-15 minutes and was interviewed by the sales manager - less of an interview and more of a conversation. After some initial background questions he basically went in to more detail about the job and again must have thought I was a good candidate because he gave me the information for a drug test and asked me to call him when I completed it. Awaiting results and expect to be hired once they come back. Process took 1 day, saw ad on CL called and set up interview for next day.
