I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Bloomberg in Oct 2023
Interview
round 1: 20 min tech chat with engineer, talked about the job and my interests
round 2: about 2 weeks later, short programming question with 2 senior engineers, building a very simple CLI python app.
round 3: same day, they asked me if I had time later for an interview. this time with a not-senior engineer, asked me 2 leetcode questions
round 4: short 20-30 mins with HR
ghosted me for a month then gave a generic rejection
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
round 2: make a wordle app in python, part 2 was to implement hard mode
round 3: a stack question and a tree question, they didn't tell you the data structures explicitly but you should be able to figure it out from the question.
Fair, from leetcode 150, as long as you grind leetcode would be good. First round was one question. Second round another tech question, if you don’t pass you don’t go to the next interview for super day
Chat with alumni in the career fair
R1: two lc problems ( bfs + lru )
R2: system design
R3: behavior question
R4: EM asked some questions about the projects on my resume
