I was part of the ECT pool through the council and was approached my a school within the district for an interview. Going through their pool was a simple and easy process and allowed me to get my first job in education.

You had to dress smartly and bring along with you a Scientific experiment that you explain as if you were explaining to young children. They ask you generic questions and what you know about the look out/did you go there as a child etc. Overall an easy interview if you’re able to explain science simply
