The hiring process at Brego Business takes an average of 6 days when considering 2 user submitted interviews across all job titles. Candidates applying for Business Development/Sales had the quickest hiring process (on average 6 days), whereas Business Development/Sales roles had the slowest hiring process (on average 6 days).
I found the interview process to be inefficient and poorly planned, pointing to a serious gap in HR screening and ownership. Despite an initial telephonic conversation, I was called for an in-person interview, only to realise during the interaction that my profile had not been properly reviewed in advance. Core aspects of my experience, already shared during the screening stage, appeared to be overlooked before asking me to visit the office.
What made the experience particularly concerning was the extended waiting time, coupled with a lack of basic communication from the HR team. An in-person interview requires candidates to rearrange schedules, travel, and in many cases step away from important personal or professional responsibilities. Inviting candidates without adequate screening, and then making them wait for long periods, reflects poorly on the recruitment process and shows a clear disregard for the value of candidates’ time.
The interaction itself felt rushed and procedural, suggesting that the interview was conducted more as a formality than as a genuine evaluation. If HR is uncertain about profile suitability, such discussions should be handled during the telephonic screening or via a virtual interview. A well-run recruitment process begins with preparation, accountability, and respect; especially when candidates are asked to commit time and effort to be physically present.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The questions were basic and surface-level, with limited effort to understand my experience in depth. The discussion lacked structure and purpose.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Brego Business in Jan 2025
Interview
I went through the complete hiring process at Brego Business, successfully clearing all interview rounds and receiving an offer letter, which I accepted. However, just a few days before my scheduled joining date, I was informed that my start date would be postponed to mid-February. Upon following up for further updates, I was later notified that my offer was being revoked due to the company’s inability to onboard the client for whom I was being hired.
This experience was highly disappointing, as I had already invested significant time and effort in the process. Such last-minute decisions reflect poor planning and a lack of professionalism. Hiring should be based on confirmed business needs rather than speculative client acquisitions. I hope the company improves its recruitment process to ensure transparency and reliability for future candidates.

Unprofessional and Toxic Work Environment
I had an absolutely pathetic experience with Brego Business that speaks volumes about their unprofessionalism and toxic work culture.
First, they made me wait for over an hour before anyone bothered to speak to me. Once the meeting started, things only went downhill. A so-called “sales team member,” clearly inexperienced and unqualified for his role, was openly making racial, appearance-based, and demeaning comments about me—right outside the room I was sitting in. Yes, I heard every word. The moment he realized I overheard, he panicked like the unprofessional coward he is.
What’s even worse? This behavior suggests a complete lack of accountability in the company. Does the leadership know how their employees conduct themselves? Or, even worse, is this kind of behavior the norm there? Either way, it’s a massive red flag.
The HR team is no better. Their inefficiency and lack of control over the hiring process is appalling. Let me be clear—people like that salesperson and the HR team should be fired immediately if the founders have even an ounce of seriousness about running a legitimate business.
Brego Business is a textbook example of a toxic, bullying, and amateurish company. If you care about your self-respect and professionalism, avoid this place like the plague.
Final Verdict: 0/10. Avoid.
