I submitted a resume previously, and they e-mailed me months later asking if I was still interested in a job. The e-mail said I could call or stop by the shop, so I dropped by in person. It was busy that Friday, so I left a resume, and we scheduled a weekday morning interview. The place has no decent parking for employees (or even customers for that matter), so you have to park on the street. During the interview, it was my perception that they already made a decision that they didn't like me, so I lost interest in the job. The interviewer dropped multiple f-bombs as he described how great a recently-hired employee was. It felt totally unprofessional. He also seemed to be gloating about how his shop foreman had $250,000 invested in tools. They seemed disappointed that I didn't make the claim that I had tens of thousands of dollars in tools. I simply stated I have a basic tool set for doing the majority of maintenance and repair jobs. None of the questions asked during the interview were relevant to the position, in my opinion.
I don't think they even looked at my resume, as they didn't bring up any of my qualifications. The interviewer also stated that they had two call-ins on the Friday I had showed up, hence the reason it was hectic that day. For me, that was a red flag indicating that employees there are not happy.
