I applied online. I interviewed at Buc-ee's (San Marcos, TX) in Jun 2026
Interview
Had a phone interview a couple days after I applied online. They basically just went through the policies, why I applied, why I'm leaving my current job, and then scheduled me to have an interview a few days later at the mass hiring event for the store that's opening soon. Interviewed with a district manager that had been flown in to do these interviews. The interview lasted for about 30 minutes, I was able to make easy conversation with the interviewer and ask him questions (which he answered with a lot of detail), and he offered me a job at the end of it. Overall, it was a organized, quick, and easy hiring process.

Question 1
What would you say your biggest strength and weakness is?
Was quick and easy. Managers seem to be easy going but not laxsy daisy. It looks like I will be part of the team. On-boarding is today, we will see how that goes.
