I applied online. I interviewed at Bucksense (New York, NY) in Feb 2026
Interview
Awful, not serious. It was led by an accountant who no longer works as a contractor with the company. She did not read basic information about the time zone for the interview. And it was 100% AI prepared interiew. She was not flexible with the schedules. And never wrote an email to follow up. Although she was nice. I believe this speaks loudly about a company.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Bucksense (Barcelona) in Nov 2024
Interview
un completo desastre desde la aplicación durante el proceso: no updates y poca reactividad. poca info, poco coaching, poco follow up. se necesita un proceso de interview mas smooth, acompañar mas el candidado y tambiñen dirigir la conversación
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Bucksense in Aug 2024
Interview
I recently interviewed for the Senior Account Manager role at Bucksense and was extremely disappointed with the hiring process. Despite the initial interviews being promising, the subsequent communication and overall process were disorganized and unprofessional.
From the start, the company emphasized the urgency of filling the position, urging me to attend a second interview a few days later. While I complied in good faith, I quickly regretted it as the process dragged on for over a month with little to no communication. Team members were on vacation for weeks, which delayed everything, and I was left feeling like an afterthought.
Then, I was informed that the position would be filled in a different country. A week later, they unexpectedly reached out again, claiming that now the team had returned from vacation, they were planning to reopen the hiring process for the original position—though they couldn’t confirm when. I agreed to continue being considered for the role, only to receive an abrupt and unprofessional message a few days later, stating they would no longer move forward with my application, without providing any explanation.
This entire experience felt disrespectful, as the lack of transparency, inconsistent communication, and abrupt rejection showed a complete disregard for the time and effort I put into the process. Bucksense needs to significantly improve its hiring practices if they hope to attract and retain serious talent. As it stands, the process is a waste of candidates' energy and reflects poorly on the company's professionalism.
