I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Builder Homesite
Interview
Interviewed with the HR rep first, then scheduled with hiring manager. It was very informal and discussed prior places of employment and accomplishments going into some of the technical aspects of my prior jobs. Interviewed with only the hiring manager.

Question 1
Tell me about the project XXXX your worked on. What challenges did you have? How did you overcome them?
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Builder Homesite (Cedar Park, TX) in Jan 2020
Interview
Interview with VP, CTO, then CEO.
Beware CEO is a bully. He asked me with a triumphant face why I switched so many jobs in a short time. These jobs were contracting jobs on my resume. He said that some guy works at his company for 10 years already and doesn't hop jobs. When I tried to explain, he interrupted. He also said that his son is also facing difficulties and that he told him to tough it up because this how corporations are. He also offered only 2 week vacation for an experienced DS position. He had a lot of business questions and idea that he kept talking about during the interview to demonstrate how smart he was. When I told him that it will be a long journey to implement all of his ideas into data science, he got furious.
He also made people to interview in the morning, then let them go. Then in the afternoon he suddenly told them to come back to interview with someone else.
He came off as a callous guy who loves to talk about himself and shuts down the employees and their concerns. Zero empathy. Bullet dodged on this guy.

Question 1
Tech questions on neural nets from a DS Manager. Nothing too difficult.
The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Builder Homesite
Interview
Interviewed with hiring manager after 2 weeks of email scheduling. The conversation happened before Christmas holidays. I gave them the benefit of being patient, and didn't ask for a status until the 2nd week of January. The silence was deafening. I emailed the head of HR, whom I'd had several conversations in person. Still, no reply. Very unprofessional with their communications.
