Due to the riots, as an Asian woman, I asked if I could reschedule due to a planned riot on that day. I was told no, Apparently everybody else in the office managed "fine". After having to ask 3 times if I could reschedule, with no definitive answer (i.e. a yes or a no), I rescinded my interest. This was the 2nd stage of interviews and it would be with the CEO. However, I had an interview with the head of the Singapore office in the first round of interviews, and it was a great interview and a really great person to work for. Honestly, I was excited for the opportunity to work with this company.
