Two rounds of interviews were conducted. One was with the senior editor, then the second one was with the supervising editor. Both were very relaxed. It took about three months total before everything was complete, letting me know what they decided. From September to January.

Edit test after resume review. I should’ve trusted the other reviews saying it seemed as if the edit test was being stolen. Shady practices. All the sudden the job posting was closed even though I had talked to the editor right before.

Availability, experience, 2 articles, numerous pitches with sources.
First you have to complete a writing test and phone interview. If those go well an editor will reach out to you and discuss their offer with you and you can choose to accept or not.
