Feel the arrogance and ignorance from Bytedance Sealsuit team. They rescheduled the interview on the day. However, the interviewer was changed to another person. The interview process was immature and one way talk - only me. This interviewer didn't even introduce herself. She did not know my role and scope, but keep asking business confidential questions about my ex-employer,s strategy. She did not answer any useful information to understand this team (seems a lot hesitation to share). Based in China and did not know much about APAC market.
If you expect a respect from the interview, there is no.
If you expect a brief understanding of the team from the interview, there is no.
If you a two-way conversation, there is no.
Very immature team members and process. I hope Bytedance can hire more experienced professionals with multiple culture background.
