Interview
I received an email to set up a phone interview a week after submitting my application. The phone interview was pretty standard, but if felt like the interviewer was not invested in the call. I didn't hear back and I assumed I was out of the running. 5 weeks later, I received an email from an intern asking if I was still interested in the position, to which I said yes. I checked in to make sure my response was seen, and the next day I received a rejection email thanking me for my time during the video interview. Only thing is, I never had a video interview with them. The whole process was just odd.

Interview
There is a reason they are consistently hiring for the same position. The interview process was quite invasive. HR called all three references and each of my references were interviewed for 30 minutes about me. My references called me immediately after to let me know that they did not believe C-4 analytics would be a good place to work based on their conversation. Reference calls are supposed to be less than 3 minutes and generally just verify employment and ask would you hire this person again, NOT "please list their biggest weaknesses." I wish I dropped out of the first round instead of having four interviews, there were red flags across the board. Avoid this company.

Interview
I applied online and received an email the same day to set up a 15 minute call. After the 15 minute call with HR, I was asked to have a half hour video interview with another person in HR. The interview seemed to go well and was asked to meet with a Manager for a 1 hour interview.

Why C-4 Analytics?
Tell me about a time you faced a challenge and what you did?
I only made it through the second round (I think??), but it was a strange experience.
My interviewer arrived late but apologized (that's fine) and told me we would only be able to talk for 20 minutes. She informed me, however, that we could schedule more time for another day. I was told I would receive an assessment, which I did and I completed it.
Yet, then I received an email thanking me for the video interview but not mentioning the assessment and saying out was out of the running. Why was I asked to complete the assessment if I was not being considered after the initial interview? I'm also confused because the assessment was very easy, and I am 99% sure I passed it.
I barely moved through the process at all, so I'm not disappointed - just a bit lost. Wish my time hadn't been wasted on a test (however short) if I was no longer under consideration.
