      Account Manager Interview

      26 Sept 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at C+C in Apr 2024

      Interview

WARNING: These people will waste your valuable time. If you are a job seeker looking to be treated with any iota of respect, please look elsewhere. The interview process began normally. This lulled me into a false sense of security because the result was the most disrespectful thing I have ever experienced in my entire professional career. After requiring multiple rounds of repetitive interviews where the same general questions were asked over and over again, I was then assigned a writing test. [Please note that I was not paid for the time it took to complete the assignment] I was then told that my assessment would be reviewed within a week and I would hear back from HR. More than a week went by, so I diligently followed up. They asked if I could talk, to which I replied immediately. HOWEVER, instead of getting a response, I was left un-replied to for several more weeks. Again, this was after I was told that my assessment would be reviewed within a week. Weeks more went by. I followed up almost every week. Theycompletely ignored my messages. I began my interview process with the company in late March and it was now early July. Finally, they replied to me with a brief note saying the role was being put on hold indefinitely. Can you believe it took this person several months to give a simple answer like that? Imagine being on the other end of those communications and thinking an opportunity is right around the corner, only to discover your time, money and resources have been utterly wasted. Being a job seeker in 2024 is already a deeply frustrating process, but imagine being completely dehumanized by an organization that claims it does stuff "for the good!" TLDR; this organization is the most unprofessional two-faced employer I have ever encountered and I did not even work for them. I got everything I needed to know about these individuals' characters from a drawn-out, disrespectful interview process. I encourage you to look up employees on LinkedIn and see what kind of things they are posting. I can verify it does not match how they behave in real life.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. C+C works hard to create a positive and responsive candidate experience, and we are very sorry we did not hit that mark here. The details you shared are not in line with our interview practices and policies, and I would welcome a chance to speak with you directly to learn more about your experience. If you prefer not to talk, your feedback will still be helpful so that we can make improvements to our hiring processes and communication. If you are open to a discussion, please reach out to me at HR@cplusc.com. Thank you - Megan Blacksher, Chief of People + Operations, C+C
