Interview
First interview was a ca. 40 min zoom meeting with one person from the department and mostly easy-going, including a couple of questions about key KPIs in performance marketing, but also personal introduction.
After that, a second in person interview followed. This included an introduction with the department manager (around 30 min), a marketing exam (around 45 min + a subsequent discussion of my answers), and a chat with two of the managing directors (around 45 min) of the Check24 Media subsidiary where the role was situated. For the personal interview, travel expenses we reimbursed afterwards.
Overall, HR was very quick to schedule interviews and provide feedback afterwards.

Specifically Marketing Exam:
- Please evaluate the below google ad campaign based on the given performance metrics. Prioritize which ones require further investment/overhaul and which ones are performing quite good already.
- Please come up with 10-12 keywords for the comparison of car insurance, Explain which you keywords were chosen why.
- Please come up with 3 different google ad copies for the 3 different target groups of the campaign explained above.
Q: Imagine you are to decide whether or not Check24 should enter the market for online price comparison of dog accessories. How would you assess the market situation and proceed with evaluation the potential profitability of the sector?
Q: How do you think the planning process for the Check24 x PUMA german national team jersey during the Football Euros 2024 went, especially when it comes to calculating the volume and budget for the jerseys? What do you think was the main goal/purpose behind this campaign?
