This company wasted my time. I was asked to interview for a Digital Marketing position, but the job description failed to mention that the role also required event planning and welcoming guests. The interviewer did not even review my resume until I was already in the room. They clearly did not liaise with HR to properly write the job description. This entire process wasted 2 hours of my time on travel and preparation. This is a highly unprofessional company and still stuck in the 1990s. I forsee there are tons of bottlenecks in this role

Question 1
Please Describe yourself what makes you apply for this role.
I went through an extensive hiring process for a design role, which included five rounds of interviews and a design test that took a week to complete. After all that effort, I was offered the position, and we entered a salary negotiation phase. During this phase, HR ghosted me for weeks despite my repeated follow-ups, mentioning that management still hadn’t responded to her.
When HR finally got back to me, the offer was rescinded due to a misunderstanding: she interpreted my inquiry about improving the offer as me being insistent on meeting a specific number. It felt as though they had never handled a salary negotiation before. I clarified that this wasn’t the case and accepted the original offer, only for HR to go back to management and rescind it again—this time citing a completely different reason: adjustments to hiring plans, budget cuts, and team restructuring.
The poor communication, repeated ghosting, and inconsistent explanations made this an incredibly frustrating and unprofessional experience. Candidates deserve transparency and respect during the hiring process, and this fell far short of that.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at COMO Group
Interview
Interview was held in a central location. All preparation was instructed clearly. Unfortunately many questions posted to them were unanswered. It seems like they are unsure of what exactly they are looking for. But they do have a very clear direction and purpose to change and improve the company.
