I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at CPKC (Vancouver, BC) in May 2017
Interview
Was a long process with alot of pre requirements, medical, drug and physical tests, They do not give you sufficient time to give your pervious job(if you have one) notice to quit.

I applied through other source. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at CPKC in Nov 2024
Interview
Pretty straight forward. They ask if you have ever worked outdoors or around heavy equipment. They have you read back a script to see if you speak clearly and if they can understand what you’re saying. It’s a 2 part interview as well
