Interview
The hiring process is quite challenging because your application is not examined closely for relevant experience and the job description is plain vanilla, so you are totally surprised at the first phase of the examination process. It is not an interview. It is an examination conducted by a group of people posing questions which you have a few moments to answer.

Question 1
An extremely specific scenario in statistical analysis. I essentially said I would ask an expert in statistics, but I should have said, "how would you go about solving it?"
With 20 minutes for the interview, and having to respond to the scenarios posed by the panel, you have no chance to sell yourself or explain how you could perform the job well in their environment. The skills test was easy, but by then I knew I hadn't passed the panel examination.
