Callahan & Associates interview questions

Virtual interviews with HR and team associates/manager for a total of 3 meetings within a 2 week time period. The interviewers explained the position and company well. However I never heard back from them one way or another which was disappointing given the time I spent interviewing.

I applied online, about two and half weeks later got an email from a recruiter to set up a first round interview. The interview took an hour over the phone, we went through every single detail listed on my resume and asked a couple basic behavior questions. But the recruiter seems have no idea what the job daily tasks are. And about a week and a half later, they send an email about their decision to pursue another candidate for this Jr. industry analyst position, which in the job application it listed as an industry analyst in the first place.
