Completed a self recorded video interview and had second round interview with company management via Google Meet. Thought it was odd that company leaders did not turn their camera on during the interview - feels very disrespectful as a candidate when you’re expected to “suit up and show up” and company leaders don’t do the same. After receiving an offer that was later withdrawn because I wanted to negotiate I received a decline notification via text message. This should be a huge red flag to any potential candidate - if a leader can’t call you to explain their decision how can they even have the courage to successfully manage a business?
