Interview
Run far away!!
Multiple calls and meetings with the co-owners. Eventually I received an offer that I accepted. The start date was pushed out 2 times. Prior to my start they called and rescind my offer due to budget issues and would be happy to revisit when that changes. Fast forward to now, the same role is posted, I reached out asking about it and was told something about a change in vertical’s.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at CareerPaths NW in Jan 2018

They ask about your background and your successes. They really treat it like they want a reason to hire you not like they are looking for reasons not to hire you. Then they put the ball in your court and say if you really want to move forward reach back out.

It was first a meeting with one of the current consultants (recruiters) who downplay the downsides of the job and mostly talk about earning potential. Then they bring you in to meet with one or both managers, then another meeting with one or both that adds nothing to the previous meeting, then if they make the offer, you have to come back to pick up a handbook that is essentially a packet that could have been emailed. It's like a test to see how much of a sucker you are to keep coming back. I fell for it.
