Interview
I got an interview call letter via some consultancy. Waited there for more than 1.30 hours and then got into an interview , there were almost 4 others job seekers at the same time for this position. One of the guy had so many friends at the location, just infront of us they planned to reach interviewer to recommend him for the job. Coming back to interview - It was average and all we spent time there was explaining about my roles and project deliverables at my current company. And only 2 technical question they have asked and answered correctly and well with all my 11 years experience. Interviewer seems to be hurry for lunch and someone from outside the interview window keeps pushing her to complete it and she asked me to wait out side. The other co-ordinator, immediately asked me to leave for the day and will let me know the feedback later. 2 days later, after pushing many time to the consultancy i got this information "Your profile got rejected as they are looking for Technical resource, experience in Production Support and health care domain". This is a very funny reason because I do have all that experience and I have very good exposure to Blue cross Blue sheild claims processing which is a HCSC - Most likely the similar system for Anthem/legato. Later I got to know that, they had hired a resource who came through referrals and he had their relatives in the team already. I don't know how such a big companies limit to/considers only Referrals rather than looking for talented resources Just like me. In that case its a time waste for every one. I wish I would have some referrals at this company to get through or Applied directly with them.
