Centralis Group interview questions

One of the most incompetent recruitment processes I’ve experienced in years. The initial contact with the recruiter from Ireland was actually fine. Then I was passed to a recruiter from Bulgaria who honestly seemed pushed into “interviewing” me just for the sake of ticking a box before rejection. The first concern apparently was why I have a Maltese phone number while living in Luxembourg — truly fascinating recruitment criteria for a Senior Accountant role. The rest of the interview was a scripted reading session of theoretical definitions, delivered with zero interest in actual professional experience or practical knowledge. I was also not informed beforehand that the HR screening would turn into a surprise academic quiz. Had I known, I could have refreshed textbook definitions like a freshly graduated student preparing for exams. After wasting my time, the rejection email arrived exactly as expected. If you are an experienced professional expecting a serious and competent recruitment process, avoid this company.
