I applied through other source. I interviewed at Charlotte Area Transit System (Charlotte, NC)
Interview
Submit Application with copy (front and back side) of class A or B CDL Drivers license with a (P) endorsement or a North Carolina Permit with a (P) endorsement; also attach a five year driving history from your current state of residency. You may attach resume but it is not necessary.
After the company reviews your application, if interested they will contact you to sit for an assessment test. This test will consist of a video presentation of situational job events and some reading material. Based on your observations you will be asked which of the three answers given is the appropriate answer for handling each event or situation. Here the three areas of interest to the company are how well the applicant handles customer service issues, reads and understands instructions and their driving skills. A score of poor on any of the three test areas is considered failing and will cause the applicant to be rejected and withdrawn from the hiring process.
Passing test and associated applications are retained on file and withdrawn on an as needed basis for future contacting. Interviews and training classes will be selected from these. After interview you must pass a drug test before job offer can be made and class placement.
