I had an interview process with Cheil London. Even though the role was entry-level, they organised a graduate recruitment day. The company themselves divided us into groups, and each group was assigned a team leader from within Cheil. There were no 1:1 interviews at all.
We were told there were only 3–5 positions available, and that candidates would be evaluated solely based on our performance within the group activities. At the end of the assessment day, they said that all candidates (there were around 20 in total) would receive feedback within two weeks, whether the outcome was positive or negative.
However, no one followed up. I had to send an email myself to ask for an update. I even travelled from Devon to attend the interview and spent around £200 on transport and accommodation. Despite that, they did not even consider it worth sending a response.
Cheil did not keep their word, and the whole experience felt very unprofessional. I’m extremely disappointed and it has really changed my perception of the company.
