So thoughtful and intentional. I felt really valued and important. They care about your experience but also about you as a human being. I knew it would be a good fit for me because of their kindness and honesty.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Choice Media (Vancouver, WA) in Jun 2019
Interview
I applied for this 'Facebook Advertisement Sales Representative' job. I got an interview - via a text message from a receptionist. I talked with the owner at 'Choice Media'.
This position / job post is a lie. Bait and switch. It is NOT salary based. It also is not for implementing any strategies or working on any revenue growth, or any of the other buzz word lingo they try to string. It is strictly cold calling that pays a pathetic hourly wage of 12-14/hr. Even if you were selling the average rates using the same script over and over you aren't even going to make the minimum 'salary' of 50k a year. Another lie.
They are also not just 'Choice Media'. But his 'buddies' company "Focus". He was unprofessional and showed no care for even reading my cover letter. He didn't even know what position I was interviewing for and showed me an entirely different job when the interview started. He was dressed unprofessionally as well, wearing a hat, cargo shorts and sneakers.
The office itself is setup so you can hear the cold calling scripts from anywhere. His office looks like a failed frat boy wanna-be with the college football and whey protein jugs everywhere. What a joke of an interview and advertising company. They should be banned from posting on Indeed/Glassdoor or anywhere else that prides themselves on serious careers. Thanks for wasting my time. You are a true piece of work. I almost walked out during the interview but showed more grace and consideration than he did.
I applied in-person. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Choice Media (Vancouver, WA) in Jan 2019
Interview
They were very straight to the point. They did not sugar cote anything. I meet with three people when I came in to the office. I meet with HR and then one Manager and then they called in a different manager. They offed me the job then they emailed me a offer letter.
