      Tutor Interview

      23 Aug 2023
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Portola Valley, CA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Cignition (Portola Valley, CA) in Aug 2023

      Interview

It was simple to apply via Indeed but for some reason, on my end, misspelled my email. This led to getting an email over the weekend about availability. I ended up securing an interview with someone who seemed as if they did not want to be there. I'm not sure of I offended someone or did something incorrect. But while the interviewer was still asking me questions I was already denied the job. The interview consisted of a mock live demo teaching to student(which was the interviewer). I asked if the student had any questions, they said no, so either I taught it so poorly the interviewer decided I was not good enough or something else. I assume I said something horrible which is why I felt uncomfortable as the interviewer seemed rushed and didn't want to speak at all.

      Question 1

How would you resolve a conflict between two students.
