I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Cinemark (Lancaster, CA) in Apr 2012
Interview
I had submitted an application to my local theater, and two weeks later I got a call from the hiring manager. She asked me some basic questions such as when I would be able to start, what high school I go to, etc. Then we scheduled an interview for about 2 or 3 days later. When I arrived there were a few other people there waiting for their interview. When I was called in she asked me why cinemark? What do I like to do in my spare time? Would my family have problems with me working on holidays? And a few "what would you do if.." scenarios, plus a few basic math questions. All in all it was pretty easy and the next day I was called back for a second interview. This was basically the same but conducted by a different person. In the end I did not get a job offer though.
Super easy, it’s a private interview where they ask about any experience you have (you really don’t need any), and they try to get to know you. I’m sure it would be a great starting job if i had taken it.
Easy. It was comfortable. Automatic and very fast. Quick process all computer and telephone. All hours available. No surprise and all fact oriented . The entire thing took less than one week.
