I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Cisco (Moscow, Moskva) in Mar 2016
Interview
Application process consisted from 3stages: phone interview, video submission and application centre day. I skipped 1st stage of application submission as i was invited to phone interview directly. Phone interview is really a standard interview performed by outsourced hiring company. The interviewer was really in a hurry and felt uninterested at all. I barely made it at this stage. Video submission task on the other hand was a very interesting and creative process. I really enjoyed it and was proud of my end result. Next step was day at Russia HQ. I had mixed feelings about it. On the day I had a small technical test, 30 minutes interview, role play and presentation. I performed very well at fist two, but other two through me off a little bit. I was at role play with an employer who didnt know what he was doing. And they made me stop in the middle of the role play and start over. I wasn't sure what was going on. So I did pretty bad there.
Next was presentation evaluation. I worked hard for the presentation as the topic was given in advance, however again i was interrupted. And it seemed, like most of the people in the room didn't understand english. So they asked me to continue in Russian. I wasn't ready for that. So as you probably already understood i wasn't feeling excited anymore. And I couldn't perform to the best of my abilities. I didn't get a job, since I couldn't perform well in not standard situations. but overall i liked this experience anyways.
