The interview process involved multiple high-level questions, many focused on senior responsibilities rather than the Account Executive role, making it challenging to align my experience with expectations. Overall, they were nice.
HR screening then two interviews with what would be colleagues on team. 2 hours. General questions. Was clear that although they were VPs they were junior VPs. They verbally said, let's see what other questions we didnt cover as they read a prompt. And these questions were so boilerplate. When I got deep into comms planning strategy they both were deer in headlights. Probably didnt get job bc they felt threatened by knowledge, experience base. You always want to hire great people , even with more experience because it makes you better, stronger. So therefore that was a red flag for me and I took myself out of the running.
