They emailed me to see if I'd be interested in a phone interview. The interview was professional and cordial. I was told they wanted to move quickly to the next step, an in-person interview at their HQ.
They forgot to confirm my interview and I had to follow up with them. After offering my availability, they insisted I come in the very next day. Two of them interviewed and assessed my skills for 90 minutes of my life I'll never get back. They promised to follow up the next day and the person who conducted my phone interview expressed interest in seeing me again soon for next steps. I never heard from them again until I sent my second thank you email asking for a status update five days later. Not receiving a job offer or moving further along in the application process is disappointing, but the reality is every candidate is not a perfect fit. However, having a company 'ghost' you after promising to follow up is unprofessional and disrespectful. How can a company expect to attract and retain great professionals if they don't embody those characteristics themselves? If anyone reaches out to you from this company, regardless the position, don't walk...RUN AWAY.
I don't usually write reviews, but ClassPass is CLASSLESS and I want to spare YOU, the potential candidate reading my experience, the trouble. Don't just take my word for it, read the other experiences posted here and you'll begin to see a pattern of bad behavior.
This Executive Assistant position has been posted and re-posted for over 30 days (like the majority of their other open positions), not due to a lack of qualified applicants, but a lack of competitant, courteous staff. Save yourself an unnecessary commute and look elsewhere for employment. You'll be so glad you did.
Update: Two weeks later, December 15th, they emailed a request for anonymous feedback on their interview process. Are you kidding me? Too little, too late.
