I recently attended the final round of interview at Cloud Analogy, which was conducted by the CEO. While the earlier rounds were structured and professional, the final interaction was disappointing.
The discussion felt very casual to the point of being unstructured. There were multiple instances where the interviewer appeared distracted and was attending calls during the interview, which affected the overall experience. Additionally, the use of informal and unprofessional language during those calls, especially in the presence of a candidate, was unexpected and concerning.
As a candidate who has gone through multiple rounds, one expects the final interaction to reflect the company’s leadership standards and professionalism. Unfortunately, that was not the case here.
I believe interviews, especially at senior levels, should demonstrate respect for the candidate’s time and effort, and create a more focused and professional environment.
Overall, this experience did not align with the expectations one would have from a leadership interaction.
