I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Cloud Campaign in Sept 2023
Interview
I applied online and was invited to do a video screen where I had to answer 6 questions. It took about an hour to complete. I was rejected due to there being a competitive pool of candidates. They have now re-posted the role a month later... 1. Do a 20 minute phone screen live with shortlisted candidates instead of or ahead of the 60 minute one way interview, you'll be able to screen people out quickly and with minimal lift on both parties ends – and you can ensure only the candidates you really like are asked to do a somewhat lengthy one-way interview. Having to do this before being able to interact with someone from the company is a poor candidate experience, and is also uncomfortable. At minimum, reduce the number of questions. 2. If you have to reject people who are over qualified for the role because there are too many qualified people and then need to re-post the role a month later, you're the problem... look inward and fix whatever it is you're doing wrong before wasting more people's time.

Interview
Overall a very nice interview process. 1. Call with company owner. Gets background about you, what they're working on and details about the interview process as a whole. 2. Behavioral interview with several team members. 3. Technical deep dive interview on stuff you've worked on along with a system design question. 4. Follow up with executive team. Overall it was very nice and thoughtful. People were great and I'd recommend them. No leetcode or any of that bs. Focused moreso on how you tackle challenges, decisions you made and why, things that could've been done differently, etc...

Interview
I applied through angel list. The process consisted of 4 interviews and a take-home assignment. The first interview was a typical phone screening. The second was a group culture fit interview centered around soft skills and provided an opportunity for me to ask questions about the company and work environment. The third was a live coding challenge, followed by a take-home assignment. The last interview was with a Cloud campaign investor which was great because it was cool to see direct involvement from the investors.
