The process consisted of three rounds. Recruiter screen, a hiring manager interview, and a skip-level interview. Each round was professionally conducted and the interviewers were engaged and thoughtful. However, after completing all three rounds, I never received any follow-up from the recruiter — not a rejection, not a status update, nothing. Complete silence, even weeks later. I invested significant time preparing for this role and went through multiple rounds only to be ghosted. Future candidates should be aware: the interviews themselves are fine, but don't expect closure from the recruiting team. A simple "we've moved in a different direction" email takes 30 seconds and costs nothing. The lack of it says something about how Coalition values candidates' time.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Coalition in May 2025
Interview
The interview process started with a recruiter reaching out to me about a couple of open positions and setting up an initial phone screen. I then spoke with a Group Product Manager, who progressed me to the next round, a virtual on-site scheduled throughout the course of a day with an Engineering Manager, another Group PM, a Director of Product, and a key stakeholder for one of the roles.
In general, the interviews were thoughtful and demonstrated the Coalition's values well through the lines of questioning.
Things shifted at Coalition, and they eliminated one of the roles mid-process and re-scoped the other role in a way that doesn't fit with my experience.
The recruiter nevertheless walked me through the interview feedback via phone.

I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Coalition in Oct 2024
Interview
The interview process was quite comprehensive and detailed. I had a hiring manager quick round, followed by 2 PM, 1 Design and 1 Tech interview. Then I was given a case study which I had to get back in 48 hours. Everyone attended the final interview as well. Post this, I was given an offer.
