Answered few of the optimisation and errors in the code, however I find that their approach to hire is not correct. The expectation that someone should understand your code and in a short span of time without having any context of the functional requirements is not correct. Try to have a coding round instead of this round. Assume your staff is taking this interview and a random code is subjected to them with no or bare minimum context how would they fare against this???
