I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Codexis (Redwood City, CA) in Dec 2015
Interview
The overall interview process was not a pleasant experience. Several individuals in the interview panel asked questions that were pretty condescending. Post interview I e-mailed thank you note and several follow-ups. HR was quick to respond via phone calls, but was not precise with hiring decision timeline and did not conclude the entire process with a rejection e-mail or a phone call.

Question 1
What was your short-term and long-term career goals? What did you like/dislike most about your previous job?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Codexis (Redwood City, CA) in Aug 2016
Interview
I first interviewed with the head of HR for 30 minutes then I had 5 more interview sessions, each with a different pair of scientists and research associates. Each interview session was 30 minutes long and the entire process took 3 hours. I interviewed by myself with no other candidates. I had two phone interviews before I was called in for an on-site interview; the first interview was with the scientist in charge of the hiring for the position and the second interview was with the HR director and was much shorter than the first as they only asked basic questions (salary expectations, why did you leave your last job, will the commute be a problem, etc).
